We built a responsive Flow Commerce site to replace Hampden Park’s outdated phone and postal ordering system, and introduced a new name to differentiate the brand experience: Hampden Retail.
To ensure only authorised footballing professionals can purchase the exclusive kit, our developers built an automated system that verifies customer-entered registration numbers against the Scottish FA database. Unauthorised users can’t add products to their basket.
The checkout is integrated with Sage to increase order processing efficiency and, in accordance with the client’s request, configured so payment isn’t taken until dispatch.
Quick project turnaround meant the site was launched in time for the Scottish Cup Final kick-off, and Hampden Park immediately witnessed the benefits of going digital.
