The challenge

Hit by a Google penalty that was harming their search engine rankings, MedTree came to Flow for a white-hat recovery plan. Following a name change, the company also needed help migrating to a new domain, while ensuring minimal disruption to search visibility and organic traffic.

Our solution

To boost visitor numbers and sales as soon as possible, we prioritised recovery from the manual penalty. Our digital marketing team analysed MedTree’s backlink profile to identify harmful referrals, and initiated link cleanup.

Once the penalty was lifted, we began building quality links to strengthen the site’s newly healthy backlink profile. We also created a domain migration plan that helped preserve search rankings and traffic volumes, ensuring revenue did not drop throughout the transition.
