Close House described their need for a website that supported their luxury branding, while supporting business growth. In order to do so, they wanted to effectively exhibit all areas of the business; golf courses, restaurant and accommodation. The objective was to attract visitors and increase the company’s profile.
As part of the design, it was also crucial for the in-house marketing team to independently update onsite content.
Our developers built the new Close House site on WordPress, as its user-friendly interface makes updating content simple. You don’t even need prior working knowledge of HTML. This gave all administrators the confidence to make changes — especially with our tech support always on hand.
We created a bespoke responsive theme for the site to deliver an on-brand, optimised experience to visitors on any device. We added custom plugins, enabling users to purchase golf equipment, book a tee time, secure event tickets and complete many other transactions online.
To drive more traffic to the site, our digital marketing team used analytics to inform a search engine optimisation strategy. They also liaised with online influencers in the golfing sector, building quality links that increase search visibility and refer quality visitors.
Social media management continues to yield successful results. Our tailored approach to each platform has helped push traffic to the site, increase event attendance and encourage brand engagement.
